Books about the 457th Bomb Group

"Fait Accompli" Compiled by Homer Briggs and James Bass. This is a historical account of the 457th Bomb group and details each of the missions flown by the group with other stories and pictures. Very good reading. Available at Amazon.com or contact Jim Bass at (615) 735-1122
"Fait Accompli II" By James Bass. This is a continuation of the original "Fait Accompli" but is primarily made up of pictures taken in the air and on the ground. A must for those who were there.
"Flak Dodger" By Roland Byers. A story of the 457th Bomb Group during the WWII with emphasis on the crews who flew the plane named "Flak Dodger". A very real "war story". Availabel at Amazon.com
